The regional problem

In Latin America, charging subscriptions on Shopify was simply impossible.

Subscriptions are the most efficient model for retention and financial predictability for an e-commerce store, but neither international apps nor local solutions bridged the gap between Shopify and Mercado Pago.

Brands needed to connect both sides. Reval connected them.

How it works

Mercado Pago moves the money. Shopify stays the source of truth. Reval handles everything in between.

01.

Your customer subscribes

A subscription button on your product page lets them choose a plan (frequency and discount) and takes them to a checkout ready for Mercado Pago, without leaving your store.

02.

Reval creates the recurring charge

It generates the charge in Mercado Pago for the exact amount: product, shipping, and taxes, calculated live from Shopify. What Mercado Pago charges always matches your store.

03.

Every charge becomes a real order in Shopify

With its products, its shipping, and its taxes. Your inventory, logistics, and reports keep working exactly the same.

Everything included

The experience of the world's best tools, on the payment rail that actually works here.

Sell

Let the subscription sell itself from the product page.

  • Subscription button on your product

The customer chooses frequency and discount right from the product page. You choose which plan comes preselected.

  • Checkout ready for Mercado Pago

The card is tokenized in the browser, with no redirects or friction. Shipping and taxes are quoted against Shopify at signup and stay fixed for every cycle; if the subscription's products change, they're requoted automatically.

  • Static and dynamic bundles

You sell a box, not a single product. In a fixed bundle you define the contents; in a dynamic one the customer builds their own from the options you enable. It's billed as a single subscription and ships with all its line items in Shopify.

  • Plan pricing: percentage or fixed price

A plan is a dynamic % off —recalculated against the product's live price on every charge— or a fixed price. The same plan applies to many variants at once.

  • First-order discount

An extra % applied only on the first charge. The buy-box sells the entry price and makes clear what renews; from the second cycle onward it goes back to the regular price, automatically.

  • One-time add-ons

You offer add-ons with their own % discount on the product page, at checkout, and inside the portal. They're charged once and ship in the same order as the subscription, without generating a separate shipment.

Retain

Give people who already subscribed a reason to stay.

  • Self-service portal, on your brand

Rendered inside your theme: pause, resume, change products and quantities, edit the address, view history and savings. It shows up as "My Subscription" in the customer account.

  • Skip a delivery

Got extra product this month? The customer skips a delivery without pausing or canceling: they aren't charged for that round and receive the next one, with the same price and the same products. You enable it, and it respects the plan's minimum delivery commitment.

  • Surprises: gifts and discounts by cycle

Reward specific cycles with a gift product that ships at $0 in that charge's order, a one-time discount, or both. It's triggered by order number or delivery streak, and rules stack.

  • Card updates without contacting you

When a card expires or is declined, the customer adds the new one from their portal and the subscription continues. It's the number-one cause of involuntary churn, solved without going through support.

  • Reactivate in one click

A canceled subscription is rebuilt from the portal with the same products, address, and shipping, without redoing signup. It stays linked to the previous one so you can see the full thread.

  • Minimum and maximum cycles

Set a minimum commitment before a customer can pause or cancel on their own, and a cycle cap that closes the subscription automatically once it's reached. 3- or 6-delivery plans with no manual follow-up.

Operate

Don't let the operation depend on someone remembering.

  • Every charge, a real order in Shopify

Inventory, taxes, fulfillment, and analytics stay intact. The charge is recorded as a transaction, so the order shows as paid for the real amount and your sales reports need no separate reconciliation.

  • Admin panel inside Shopify

Subscriptions, customers, and orders in one place, with MRR, historical revenue, and growth. You edit any subscription without asking the customer for anything.

  • You know why people leave

When a customer cancels, they pick a reason. The dashboard groups them and separates voluntary from involuntary churn, so you stop guessing where you're losing subscribers.

  • Automated alerts: Klaviyo and Shopify Flow

Nine lifecycle events —signup, charge, failed charge, upcoming renewal, pause, cancellation, out of stock— with the properties a flow needs. You set how many days before the charge to notify. Welcome, dunning, and winback flows are built without writing code.

  • Bulk operations with history

Swap one variant for another across all subscribers, replicate plan prices, pause or resume in bulk. Every run is logged and exported to CSV.

  • You decide what happens with no stock

If a subscription product has no stock when the order is due: generate it anyway, ship only what's available, or retry the next day. The customer already paid — the decision is yours.

What the product feels like

A portal on par with the world's best brands, right inside your store.

Your customer manages their subscription on their own: pause it, change products, add something new. Simple for them, more LTV for you.

The subscriber experience

What changes when your subscriber is in control.

A good subscription experience isn't a visual detail: it's the lever that prevents cancellations, raises average order value, and removes operational load.

Zero disruption

Your operation doesn't change at all.

Every recurring charge enters Shopify as a normal order. Your inventory, taxes, reports, and logistics keep working exactly the same.

Reval adds recurring revenue without touching what already works, and without requiring Shopify Plus or Shopify Payments.

Vs. your alternatives

We know every alternative in the market inside out.
That's why Reval is different.

Skio / Recharge

Their limit

The global subscription standard, but they assume a payment method with recurring billing. In Argentina they don't run with Mercado Pago.

With Reval

The same experience, on the only payment rail that actually works in the market.

Tienda Nube native

Their limit

Only Pago Nube by card. The customer doesn't manage their subscription and there's no stock reservation.

With Reval

Self-service, add-ons, multi-product, and real orders in Shopify.

Doing it by hand

Their limit

Charging one by one, with no real recurrence. It's what most stores do today.

With Reval

Automatic recurring revenue, without touching your operation.

Migration

Still on Tienda Nube, WooCommerce, or Magento? We'll move you to Shopify, and you'll run subscriptions too.

Reval runs on Shopify. If you're not there yet, we migrate you with the mindset of a team that does it every day for leading brands. A traditional re-platform costs between USD 8,000 and 15,000; with us it's a fraction of that, on your timezone, without stopping your sales.
